REININGER Winery's Inaugural Rosé & Reggae Event
July 24th at Reininger Winery from 5-8 PM
We are extremely pleased to share that our Rosé & Reggae event will be open at full capacity for the first time since the pandemic—when things got flipped upside down. The event will feature Naughty Pine—a reggae band out of Tri Cities, WA as well as food available from a local favorite at the farmers market—the Polynesian Grill.
NAUGHTY PINE & BAREFOOT RANDY

Naughty Pine describes themselves as sticking true to the roots of reggae with a dubby twist. The band is fronted by their lead vocalist, Barefoot Randy, who, as you may guess performs barefoot as a career staple. The band is out of Tri Cities, WA but has played all over the Northwest including California, Oregon, and Idaho. You can follow their page on Facebook and Instagram to learn about new tour dates, locations, and events.
FOR THE LOVE OF FOOD
What’s an event without tasty food?! We have partnered with the Polynesian Grill, a local favorite stationed out of the Walla Walla farmers market every Saturday. The grill will offer teriyaki chicken and rice for those who wish to have a snack with your music and wine.
WINE OFFERINGS— ROSÉ & MORE
While we plan to share with guests the last of our HELIX 2020 Sangiovese Rosé, we also would love to share our summer whites, some new reds, and of course the go-to favorites such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and various blends.
THE STAR OF THE SHOW

Our HELIX 2020 Sangiovese Rosé is the star and for good reason. The grapes are sourced from our Certified Salmon Safe Stillwater Creek Vineyard located in the newly distinguished Royal Slope sub AVA of the larger Washington Columbia Valley AVA. The Royal Slope AVA is located north of the Wahluke Slope AVA and is a total of 156,389 acres of land. Stillwater Creek Vineyard’s Sangiovese is known for its flavor, refreshing acidity and color. The grapes are hand-harvested and hand sorted with 3 hours on skins then gently pressed to its stainless steel fermenter.
Our winemaker, Chuck Reininger describes our 2020 Sangiovese Rosé as possessing “reviving scents of apple blossom, thinly sliced early strawberry, watermelon rind, with a hint of mandarin orange zest and invigorating flavorful notes of white peach, red apple, young strawberry and honeydew that brush a traditional rosé palate.” Chuck Reininger
SUMMER WHITES TO SHARE

Other warm weather favorites we look forward to sharing with guests include our REININGER 2020 Sémillon sourced from Birch Creek & Stillwater Creek Vineyards, and both our HELIX 2020 Viognier and 2020 Chardonnay from Stillwater Creek Vineyard.
DON'T FORGET THE RED, RED WINE
We also look forward to sharing some reds with guests. This includes our newly released Helix 2019 Sangiovese and the non-vintage Crush Crew Red, as well as our REININGER & HELIX Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. And, you can’t forget our delicious red blends and limited production wines like the last of our Walla Walla Carmenère and Syrah!
THINGS TO NOTE
This event is first come first serve and we urge guests to bring blankets and lawn chairs since indoor and outdoor seating is limited. Cover charge is $5 and club members will receive 2 complimentary admissions.
THE SET UP
When you visit the winery on Saturday plan to park where you can and join us for the fun. We will take cover charges at the front and then you will be free to find a spot, grab some wine and enjoy! On the highway side of our lawn we will set up a stage for Naughty Pine’s performance and the Polynesian grill will be on our crush pad to the left cooking up some tasty meals.
