New Year, New Adventures, Still Tons of Wine

Happy New Year, everyone! While 2012 was certainly an adventure for all of us, we are looking forward to 2013 with gusto and (of course) a glass of Reininger in hand. What’s on tap for this year at Reininger? I can’t really tell you. We are constantly creating new blends and tasting our barrels looking for the peak of flavor, planning Wine Club parties, and generally flying by the seat of our pants. It’s that artistic freedom and joy that keeps Chuck ready to come back to work and try new and exciting things. I do know of a few things that are exciting, although specifics are (as always) a little harder to commit to!

2013 is definitely bringing more Wine Club gatherings and pick up parties in 2013, with the overwhelming success of the 2012 Seattle and Portland parties (aside from the horrific traffic issues in South Lake Union, of course). They are great fun for us and even more fun for our Wine Clubbers. Keep an eye on your inboxes for invitations to these Wine Club pickup parties and out of town gatherings as they fill up very quickly! Our Wine Club is currently full, so if you or your friends are interested in joining so you can be a part of these super fun events, follow this link or call the winery at 509-522-1994 to get on the waiting list!

In somewhat non-winery winery news for 2013, I am very excited to post that Brooke is expecting her first child late this spring. This kid is sure to be a dirt-loving, powder-shredding, fish-slaying little boy with a big smile and well-honed palate…at least that’s what I predict. Though the winery might very well fall apart without her managerial skills and Wine Club expertise during her leave, I can say without hesitation that we can’t wait to meet the spawn of Brooke!

Aaaaaaaaaaaand perhaps the most exciting news is that Reininger also hopes to be releasing a top-secret project within this year, which I can promise will be incredible. I’m so excited about this that I can barely keep my fingers from typing what it is, but that would ruin the surprise, wouldn’t it? If you loved the 2003 Desiderata and 2004 Anomaly, this is going to be right up your alley.

Reininger wishes you a joyful, safe, wine-filled 2013! Best wishes for the new year, everyone.
