Wine Spectator 93 Point Score for 2009 Reininger Syrah!
It is
cold, grey, and pretty uninspiring outside which makes it understandable why people who live in northern climates have a reputation for being big drinkers (Scandinavians, Brits, Irish, Germans, Pacific Northwesterners…). I, for one, will not settle most days for just any slop, so it’s good news that our 2009 Syrah, which was just release over Holiday Barrel weekend, now has a 93 point Wine Spectator score and a 92 point Wine Enthusiast score to add to it’s already delicious accolades. While I don’t promote excessive wine drinking, I do promote drinking something if it is delicious, which the 2009 Reininger Syrah is. We only made a few hundred cases which have been flying out the door to distributors and wine clubbers.
