Let the Flames Begin
Daylight Savings Time is right around the corner, which means it’s time to fire up those grills. Even if the weather is rainy, drizzly, or windy, there’s something festive about cooking outdoors in spring. Since Easter is not far off – April 24th – you might be considering your grilling options. My first choice is grilled lamb, which is not only delicious, but a whole lot easier than you might think. Start with a good cut of spring leg, or chops, which won’t taste “gamey”, and consider a dry rub or wet marinade. Keep it simple; you don’t want to overpower the meat’s subtleties.
