Tasting Notes
A Mountain Man’s Malbec. Perfect with grilled tender beef. He’ll buck a bit at first from start to finish upon a bed of mineral rock and fine-edgy tannins so, just open the gate and let’em breath the fresh mountain air a spell and he’ll settle down to reward you with wild huckleberry, wild blackberry, orchard plum and cassis on a very thin layer of pepper spice upon a sun bleached, dusty split-rail cedar fence. After a while you’ll even catch a whiff of the distantly brewing cowboy coffee. The perfect wine for a Gourmet-Denim feast.  - Chuck Reininger, Winemaker

My Love Affair with Carmenere "This is the one that started it all for me. It was unlike anything I had ever tasted before."

"Reininger Winery was one of the first wineries we visited in Walla Walla. We were welcomed and treated like family. We were very impressed with their dedication to producing wines that are true to varietal and well-matched with food. You definitely could say that an experience such as ours was factored in and influenced our decision to open our restaurants in Walla Walla."
    - Chris Ainsworth, Chef/Proprietor
    James Beard nominee '09, '10 and '12

"As wine club members, we have always appreciated the consistency of quality in Reininger wines. Every bottle we have bought is great with food and stands among the best of Walla Walla wines. We love the personal feeling of the winery when we take friends and visitors by to taste. We truly feel like a part of the Reininger family!"
