Tasting Notes
An elegant Syrah showing haunting aromas of mixed olives, smoked meats, sausage, soil and soy sauce. On the palate its textures are classic Ash Hollow: round and smooth, with fine grained tannins. This wine is everything but fruit, and its rusticity is reminiscent of Cornas. Full-bodied and meaty, please decant now or cellar 3-5 years.
