Tasting Notes
A very rich and complex wine, dark red in color. Flavors of ripe plum and vanillin lead off the nose with hints of spice, mocha and black fruits in the mouth. The well-rounded tannins make the expansive mouth feel soft yet structured. A big, lingering finish completes this gorgeous wine.

  • What our customers say

My Love Affair with Carmenere "This is the one that started it all for me. It was unlike anything I had ever tasted before."

"Reininger Winery was one of the first wineries we visited in Walla Walla. We were welcomed and treated like family. We were very impressed with their dedication to producing wines that are true to varietal and well-matched with food. You definitely could say that an experience such as ours was factored in and influenced our decision to open our restaurants in Walla Walla."

We love the personal feeling of the winery when we take friends and visitors by to taste. We truly feel like a part of the Reininger family!"
